Aquaculture Remote Classroom

BIM's Aquaculture Remote Classroom visited St. Laurence’s last week.

It is designed to help younger audiences learn about aquaculture using immersive technologies including VR headsets so pupils can plunge to the depths’ of the sea to learn about how salmon, oysters and mussels are farmed in Ireland.

The ARC is jointly funded by the Government of Ireland and the EU under the European Maritime Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund (EMFAF).
