Our School Garden

Learning and growing outdoors.

The school garden at St. Laurence’s is a vibrant space where pupils can learn, explore, and connect with nature. Gardening gives pupils hands-on experience of how plants grow and encourages an appreciation for the environment.

Throughout the year, boys help with planting, watering, and caring for a variety of flowers, herbs, and vegetables. The garden also supports lessons in science, wellbeing, and sustainability, allowing pupils to see the results of their efforts over time. Working together in the garden promotes teamwork, patience, and a sense of pride in helping something grow.
